About this event
- 1 hour
In this hour-long virtual workshop, we navigate the intersection of racial equity and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) within the corporate sphere. Starting with a reflection on our past experiences with racial differences, we aim to better understand our current perspectives. We then unravel key racial equity concepts, including racial equity/inequity, implicit/explicit bias, and individual/institutional/structural racism. The session concludes with practical strategies to disrupt 'Insider Mindsets', encouraging participants to think differently about race, racism, and its impacts in and out of the workplace. Join us on this journey to deepen your understanding, challenge biases, and contribute to a more equitable corporate America.
