About this event
Christopher Blais, a specialist from CBE in Teaching and Learning with Technology, will share highlights of the Minecraft Design Challenge and give students a Central Library tour in-game!
Level-Up Calgary Season 2: Achievement Unlocked provides students with an opportunity to navigate through a customized virtual representation of downtown Calgary in Minecraft, interacting with experts as they consider the Resilient Calgary Strategy which addresses climate, economic and social resilience. Special NPC players include Blackfoot Elder Saa'kokoto, Mayor Gondek, and Calgary Public Library’s CEO, Sarah Meilleur.
Students will prototype their ideas in Minecraft for consideration by a panel of City of Calgary experts.

60 minute session (Optional Q&A via Padlet during the last 20 minutes)
