This year's theme is “BLOOM IN THE HEART OF CANADA ''. Being yourself blooms in the presence of SELF-LOVE, SELF-DISCOVERY, ACCEPTANCE & RESILIENCE. Every child blooms at a different pace. Each of us is shaped by different combinations of backgrounds, cultures, experiences, beliefs, and personality traits, and these are the aspects that made us who we truly are. No matter what skin colour we have, we are all the same and equal. These are the messages we want to amplify on every runway and in this first-ever Winnipeg Kids Fashion Week. We want to be a part of every child’s transformation to be the best version of themselves as they love who they are, as a confident individual and to be humble while keeping their feet on the ground.
In this ever-changing world and the growing threats of modern society, especially the presence of technology, our goal is to help at least divert their focus into something more meaningful than spending too much of their time on their computers and handheld electronic devices to learn valuable skills such as being sociable, team player and a leader. We want to be the best partners of every parent who wants their child to go out of their comfort zone, to try exciting new activities with other kids, to build friendship and most importantly, to create experiences and happy memories that will last a lifetime. So, let’s bloom to make the whole community beautiful with the fragrance of joy. In this challenging time, let’s bloom together.
