What is WITS Bootcamp?

Founded in 2019, the Women in Tech Sales (WITS) Bootcamp is an industry-vetted, intensive learning program for women who are looking to pursue a career in tech sales or pivot into tech sales. Students learn the B2B SaaS sales playbook and the art and science of tech sales. Once they graduate they're sales-ready to jump into a career in tech sales.

We will be hosting 6 Bootcamps in Canada in 2024.

2024 Canadian Bootcamp dates are as follows:

  • January 29th - February 2nd
  • March 4th - 8th
  • April 15th - 19th
  • June 10th - 14th
  • September 20th - 24th
  • November 4th - 8th

What will the Bootcampers learn?

  • How to build a value proposition
  • Customer discovery
  • Preparing and executing sales calls
  • Presentation skills - including how to sell virtually
  • Lead generation and management
  • Handling objections
  • How to negotiate & close deals

Who are the Bootcampers?

Each cohort consists of up to 25 women from a range of professional, educational and personal backgrounds. Participants are vetted and carefully selected into the program based on the following:

  • Drive to pursue or advance a career in sales
  • Past sales or sales-related experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Aptitude for technology and adapting to new situations

Silver packages allow you to participate in one speaking spot, as well as the speed interview sessions and breakfast Fireside chat to kick off the last day of bootcamp.

  • 1:1 Speed Interviews with Bootcamp grads (20-25 total) on the final day of the cohort (Career Day)
  • Meet all the Bootcampers through exclusive Biography Book and video introductions the day before Speed Interviews
  • 1 Speaker spot on a panel discussion during the week of bootcamp

  • 1:1 Speed interviews with Bootcamp grads (total 20-25 interviews) – happens on the final day of each cohort

Frequently asked questions

What level are the participants typically?

The bootcamp is typically made up of 70% women with 0-5 years of work experience with transferable sales related skills & 30% with over 5 years. Many participants are looking to brush up on their sales skills and/or pivot their sales career into tech specifically.

How long is the bootcamp?

The bootcamp is a 5-day program that runs from 10-3pm EST each day (approximately). There is also homework assignments provided daily (approximately 1 hour per day). The Friday or last day of bootcamp is designated for speed interviews where hiring partners have the opportunity to meet all the stude

How are the bootcampers sourced?

We source our participants from all across Canada or the US depending on the location of the bootcamp. We partner with associations, educational institutes and post and promote the bootcamp through social media channels. On average 50% of participants are sourced through alumni & referrals.

How are the bootcampers vetted?

We interview every student to determine a good fit with the program. Students must be committed to a career in sales and showcase attributes that make a strong salesperson ie: resilience, confidence, empathy, listening skills, solutions-oriented, analytical and strong relationship building skills.

What do the bootcampers learn?

Is there a guarantee?

Hiring is unlimited - you can hire as many bootcampers as you can from each cohort. Our partner pricing is intentionally low to ensure that the bootcamp is accessible for participants and employers. While there is no guarantee we are committed to ensuring that you realize value in our partnership.

How many bootcampers per cohort?

Typically there are 18-25 bootcampers per cohort.
