I often hear, “you don’t look autistic.” Well, what does autism look like? Autism is a word, not a person. You see, as a child I became a detective. I watched people, analyzed everything. I became an actress living in the movie of life. But, during this presentation with the help of my husband William, a mystery writer, I will share behind the scenes of what living with Autism is really like on a daily basis. Together we will shed light on processing differences, dispel myths about challenging behaviors, reveal helpful strategies for difficult situations, uncover unique strengths, and empower the audience to embrace Autism’s beautiful ways of experiencing the world.
