Frequently asked questions

What should I bring?

Please bring your own lunch (complimentary tea and light snacks will be available). A journal, your favourite mug, any props you may want during our yoga classes (blocks, bolsters, straps, blankets). A water bottle.

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothing that you can move and do yoga in. We plan on spending a good amount of time outside so please dress for the weather (rain coat, boots etc). We will have alternatives prepared in case of extreme weather (smoke, wind, storm). Sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses are recommended.

What is forest bathing?

Inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku, which translates to “forest bathing”, nature and forest therapy has been shown to support the healing that comes from connecting with the natural world and reminds participants of the inherent interconnectedness between humans and the natural world.
