Victoria Antoniu is currently a RYT®500 yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance; you can find her in the yin yoga teachers’ directory.
She is also a yoga therapist and you can find her in the EClinic United Health directory.
Victoria’s yoga journey started 18 years ago, when she arrived in Canada. She took her first yoga class in a gym and was fascinated by the practice and the effect of meditation at the end of the class. Since 2013 she practiced yogic meditation and emotion-focused mindfulness, first as an attempt to deal with the stress of handling a career in healthcare, working on her Master’s degree and co-parenting her two sons. Soon after Victoria incorporated meditation practice into her daily routines.
In 2020, during the pandemic, she took her online yoga teacher trainings from yoga schools in Rishikesh, India. In 2021, Victoria completed yin yoga training from Yoga International in Vancouver, Canada.
In 2022 Victoria completed a yoga therapist program from The Yoga Institute in Mumbai, India.
During 2023-2025 Victoria is completing 800 hours comprehensive yoga therapy course towards her IAYT designation.
Victoria’s current practice includes private online yoga therapy sessions, group hatha yoga classes at the City of Toronto community centres and private online yoga therapy sessions for EClinic United Health clients.
She enjoys walks in nature and practicing yoga outdoors during the summer months.
