Colombian-Australian Association of the NT
The Colombian-Australian Association of the Northern Territory (COLANT) is a vibrant and dynamic organisation dedicated to fostering a sense of community among Colombians and Australians in the NT. Our mission is to celebrate and promote the rich cultural heritage of Colombia while strengthening the bonds between our two diverse communities.
We aim to provide a platform for cultural exchange, support, and growth through a variety of initiatives, including cultural and wellbeing events, educational programs, and community outreach. By highlighting the contributions of the Colombian community to the Northern Territory, we strive to enhance cultural understanding and appreciation, promote inclusivity, and support the personal and professional development of our members.
Key objectives of COLANT include:

- Community Support: Providing resources and support for Colombians living in the NT, helping them to integrate and thrive in their new environment.
- Educational Opportunities: Offering workshops, language classes, and educational programs to promote learning and development.
- Networking and Mentorship: Creating opportunities for networking and mentorship to support the professional growth of our members, particularly international students and recent graduates.
- Community Engagement: Encouraging active participation and collaboration between Colombians and Australians, fostering mutual respect and understanding.
- Sports and Wellness: Promoting sports and physical activities to enhance health and wellbeing, and to foster camaraderie and teamwork within the community.
