Sea Spray Garden Initiative

The Sea Spray Garden Initiative envisions a future where the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia is recognized as a deeply connected, food-secure, and resilient community. We see a place where access to fresh, healthy food is universal, and where every resident, regardless of age, background, or physical/cognitive ability, is actively empowered to participate in and benefit from the therapeutic and community-building power of gardening. We aim to be the premier catalyst for horticultural education, community wellness, and sustainable local food systems in our region.
