101 RAC | WOOD: Introduction to the Workshop + Prior Learning Assessment (Initiates)

This course is intended for initiates and professionals. This course is mainly a recognition of prior learning required for the use of certain tools and machinery as well as the specificities and rules of the LESPACEMAKER wood shop.

*** Dress code and safety accessories are mandatory for this training ***

Theoretical and practical elements:

• Health and safety in the wood shop
• Saw bench
• Mitre saw
• Band saws
• Drill press

Practical Elements:

• Different cuts using the machinery and tools
• After the training, the participant will be entitled to:

Access to the reserved area of the wood shop (with valid LESPACEMAKER membership card)

Access to the basics tools and machinery (those taught in this training)

Material list provided with registration:

All materials are provided for the training except for the mandatory safety clothing and accessories.
