What is it?

SENSEsational Social is an annual gala live-music and fundraising event for Xenia Concerts, strengthening its commitment to its mission and a sense of community among its valued audience, partners, donors, and artists.

Over the past ten years, Xenia Concerts has established itself as Canada's leader in the design and presentation of exceptional, accessible concerts for children, youth, older adults, and families in the neurodiversity and disability communities. With concerts, presentations, and workshops reaching from East to West coasts, Xenia is full-out dedicated to bringing inspiring, engaging musical experiences to audiences that are often excluded. Xenia is building community and inspiring creativity through the power of music.

Xenia is at a critical place in its evolution where the need to reach new audiences, develop educational resources, and share our expertise with fellow artists and organizations requires us to grow considerably. It is time to take a leap forward and we are asking for your help. Xenia is looking for investors who believe that when you reduce barriers and celebrate differences, everyone benefits. It’s time to celebrate the joy of inclusion!

What should we expect?

The first-ever Xenia Concerts SENSEsational Social is an opportunity to support our mission and a chance to get to know us better. Your ticket to SENSEsation Social is your pass to an afternoon of fantastic performances by Bridge & Wolak, Jennarie, and Phoenix the Fire, delicious nibbles and desserts, a glass of something cheerful...and the best part...knowing that you will be helping Xenia Concert achieve its vision of making Canada a place where EVERYONE has access to great arts experiences.

Every ticket to the Xenia Concerts SENSEsational Social carries an allowable tax receiptable amount of $65.

The Society Clubhouse is a wheelchair accessible venue, and ASL interpretation will be provided throughout the event.

Other accessibility features at the event include:

• All expressions welcome! Feel free to make noise, get up, or stim!
• Musical ASL
• Gender-neutral, wheelchair accessible washroom
• Accessible e-programs emailed before event
• Sensory toys, balance seats, weighted pillows, and weighted blankets available (bring your own from home if you can!
• Flexible seating and designated quiet tables
