Civic Void Gallery
Roquero Art Works is a multidisciplinary art studio and creative practice founded by artist and curator Eddie Roque. Rooted in visual activism, public art, and storytelling, Roquero Art Works produces original fine art, murals, limited-edition prints, wearable art, and collaborative installations that explore power, memory, grief, resistance, and community. The work is deeply process-driven—layered, hand-made, and intentionally political—bridging street culture, gallery spaces, and lived experience.
Civic Void is a community arts initiative and pop-up platform created by Roquero Art Works to activate public space through art, conversation, and collective presence. Civic Void exists in the gap where traditional civic engagement has failed—using exhibitions, performances, workshops, and gatherings to bring people together around culture, history, and shared responsibility. Events hosted by Civic Void prioritize accessibility, dialogue, and participation over polish, creating spaces where artists and audiences meet on equal ground.
Together, Roquero Art Works and Civic Void produce events that are more than exhibitions—they are moments of connection, remembrance, and action. Each gathering is designed to honor legacy, challenge complacency, and remind us that art is not decoration—it’s a tool for understanding the world and shaping what comes next.
