Māya

Māya is a Berlin-based textile and design atelier grounded in heritage craft and contemporary design and print thinking. Our work centres on hand block printing, resist techniques, and natural, responsible colour systems developed through long-term field research and studio practice. We work with natural fibres and eco-conscious, studio-mixed inks and dyes, prioritising material intelligence, sustainability, and process over speed or trend. Māya functions as both an atelier and a research space. Our workshops are design-led studies focused on rhythm, repetition, colour, and surface, offering a considered approach to textile practice shaped by cultural knowledge and slow making.
