The Surgery and Perioperative Care (SPOC) Translational Research Collaboration (TRC) addresses the challenges of designing, conducting and reporting early phase surgical and peri-operative care studies.
Our Vision
- To improve the surgery and preoperative care translational innovation pathway in the NHS.
- To create a system that provides strong early-stage evidence for interventions, which can then be tested in later stages.
This will help build a health service where SPOC is based on solid evidence, safety, ethics, and based on the needs of patients and the public.
