Future Arts in Residence (FAiR) is a studio residency program for women of colour, marginalized genders, and prioritizes artists with disabilities in their emerging practices and creative processes. In 2023, Future Arts Network developed a 3-year strategic plan with community consultation with feedback from local artists and past participants of our programs, and the biggest need in our community is a need for a paid artist in residence program and paid mentorship. This program responds to our community consultation.

Future Arts Network is dedicated to:

• Develop women of colour and marginalized genders of BIPOC leaders in the arts through leadership and mentorship programs
• Support, engage, and promote women of colour and marginalized genders of BIPOC in the arts through programming, education, and production
