Hi! I'm Courtney and I am an artist and educator based in Ontario with a passion for creativity, learning, and community connection. Growing up in Hamilton, Ontario, I developed an early love for the arts, which led me to pursue a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education degree at Brock University. Since graduating, I have had the opportunity to teach in a variety of educational settings both internationally and within Canada. My teaching career has taken me from schools in China to classrooms across Ontario, where I have inspired students through creative expression and mathematical thinking. As an educator, I strive to create engaging, inclusive learning experiences that encourage confidence, curiosity, and personal growth.

In the past year, I have expanded my practice beyond the classroom by hosting paint and sip events, watercolor workshops, children's painting workshops, and adult art classes. These experiences have allowed me to connect with diverse groups of learners and artists while fostering creativity in welcoming and supportive environments. I believe art has the power to bring people together, reduce stress, and promote overall well-being.

My artistic practice includes acrylic and watercolour painting commissions, watercolor pet portraits, and original works that reflect my ongoing journey of artistic growth and self-discovery. I am currently focused on developing a distinctive artistic style that authentically represents my creative voice. Through both teaching and creating, I am committed to helping others discover the transformative power of art while continuing to evolve as an artist myself.
