The Shoebox Project for Women

The Shoebox Project for Women

The Shoebox Project for Women is a registered Canadian charity established in 2011 that helps women facing or at risk of homelessness by delivering decorated shoeboxes filled with useful items such as toiletries, beauty products, gift cards, cozy accessories, and encouraging messages. These boxes are shared through shelters and local organizations, offering more than just essentials. They bring warmth, dignity, and emotional support, especially during the holiday season.

We're launching an exciting project this fall to support women's health and well-being. This includes a series of free online workshops that help women make positive changes in their lives, both physically and emotionally. These workshops are especially for women facing challenges like low income, poor living conditions, unsafe housing, or abuse. We believe these sessions will be meaningful and relevant to all who identify as women. The goal is to provide helpful information about local resources and programs, so women feel more confident reaching out for support and building important life skills.
