Laugh Response is an independent Chinese stand-up comedy label based in Vancouver. We value honest, direct expression and believe the stage should not be confined by predetermined positions or excessive pandering.

We produce a wide range of live shows, encouraging comedians to take risks, refine their material, and keep developing their voice. We also welcome people from different backgrounds and professions to be part of the community. Expression does not belong to a select few.

More than just a comedy show, Laugh Response is an evolving community. We hope to build a comedy space that is real, open, and willing to make room for discussion — a space where different experiences and perspectives can be heard.
