Hope and Engage Foundation

Hope and Engage Foundation

Hope & Engage Foundation: Every woman deserves safety. Every voice deserves to be heard. Every struggle deserves support. At Hope and Engage, we are committed to turning fear into hope, isolation into connection, and hardship into healing—because no woman should ever walk through life’s darkest moments alone.

Hope: Represents emotional healing, renewed strength, and the belief that every individual deserves a life of safety, respect, and purpose.

Engage: Represents action—standing beside individuals in their most difficult moments and creating real pathways toward stability.

Restoring Dignity, Connection , & Strength.

We are committed to supporting women facing violence and vulnerable circumstances, while also addressing the growing crisis of isolation and loneliness among seniors.

We are committed to addressing deeper beliefs & social patterns that cause harm.

Hope and Engage exists to restore dignity, connection, and strength in the lives of those who need it most. We believe in providing active avenues towards stability and empowerment.

Who we are

Hope & Engage Foundation is committed to fostering lasting positive change through education, prevention, advocacy, and culturally responsive community support for vulnerable women, seniors, youth, and underserved families. We recognize the lasting impact of mental health challenges, isolation, intergenerational trauma, blended family conflict, cultural stigma, and pressures surrounding arranged marriages and harmful social expectations that can leave individuals feeling silenced, unsupported, and disconnected from help.

Our mission:

To create safer, healthier, and more inclusive communities by empowering individuals through connection, healing, outreach, education, and meaningful support services while promoting dignity, resilience, and wellbeing for people of all backgrounds, cultures, ages, and identities.

Hope & Engage Foundation believes prevention begins with awareness, compassion, and community engagement. Through partnerships, volunteerism, youth education, senior support initiatives, and advocacy efforts, we strive to break stigma, strengthen families and communities, and ensure every individual feels seen, heard, valued, and supported.

For seniors, this means creating welcoming opportunities for companionship, activity, and purpose so older adults remain connected to community, supported in daily life, and recognized for the wisdom and dignity they carry.

What we offer

We offer a range of programs and initiatives designed to address isolation, vulnerability, and barriers to support, including:

Senior engagement and companionship programs to reduce loneliness and improve well-being

Support services for women in need, including those facing crisis, instability, or lack of resources

Culturally responsive programs for women and families from diverse backgrounds, addressing barriers related to stigma, family pressure, and limited access to support

Youth mentorship and engagement programs for those navigating unstable or challenging home environments

Community workshops and events that promote connection, education, and inclusion across diverse backgrounds

Our approach is flexible and community-centered, allowing us to respond to real needs with practical, accessible support.

Who we help

We serve individuals and families who are often underserved or overlooked, including:

Seniors experiencing isolation and lack of social connection

Women facing hardship, including those in vulnerable or high-risk situations

Women from diverse cultural backgrounds navigating family, cultural, and societal pressures

Youth impacted by family instability or lack of guidance

Newcomers and individuals seeking connection within their communities

We are especially focused on supporting those who may not have access to traditional support systems and are seeking a safe, understanding, and inclusive environment

Originally built through hands-on, in-person community work, Hope & Engage has focused on real-world impact first—developing strong relationships with seniors and community groups before expanding our digital presence. Today, we are growing across Calgary and strengthening our reach through active collaborations with organizations such as GFL 55, and The Women’s Centre and Inn from the Cold , and many other organizations to make support easily accessible.

Through weekly events, including community meet-and-swaps, engagement workshops, and social gatherings, we are creating opportunities for connection, reducing isolation, and fostering a stronger sense of community.

At its core, Hope & Engage is about people—bringing them together, supporting them, and building a future where no one is left disconnected.
