Latin Soul Dance Simcoe offers fun, welcoming Latin dance classes for adults and kids in Wasaga Beach and across Simcoe County. We teach Salsa, Bachata, Samba, and Brazilian dance styles including Forró and Zouk through group classes, private lessons, and special events.

Founded by Clarissa Moreira, Latin Soul Dance Simcoe was created to share the joy, culture, and community of Latin dance in a family-friendly environment. Clarissa has been dancing her whole life, inspired by her Brazilian roots and immersed in Samba, Forró, and other Brazilian rhythms from a young age. She also has a foundation in ballet, rhythmic gymnastics, and capoeira, which have shaped her dynamic and expressive movement style.

Clarissa studied Recreation and Leisure Studies at the University of Waterloo, where she expanded her knowledge of dance through research, performance, and the study of Latin styles such as Salsa, Bachata, and Zouk. She has performed at dance congresses, explored diverse cultural dance traditions through travel, and had the honour of performing Samba at the Sambódromo in Rio de Janeiro.

Today, Clarissa is passionate about creating joyful, inclusive, and confidence-building dance experiences for adults, children, and families. Whether you are stepping onto the dance floor for the first time or looking to grow your skills, Latin Soul Dance Simcoe welcomes you to move, connect, and celebrate Latin culture through dance.
