El's Troupe

My name is Latasha Deaver and I work with a non-profit company called El’s Troupe. There are many wonderful theatres/theatre companies that strive to entertain and increase the level of culture in our society, but El’s Troupe sees so much more. Our goal is to confront contemporary issues and provide counseling to secure victory in the lives of our audience. This is what sets El’s Troupe apart from other production companies.

What also makes El’s Troupe distinctive is the audience will see themselves on stage with provocative and inspiring subject matter that synergizes the “Broadway standard” with Christian ethics.

Currently, El’s Troupe is touring a one woman play entitled reDISCOVERED. The premise of this show is the story of a woman who pretended to be what was necessary to survive. The show concludes with the transformation and transcendence of who she is supposed to be.

There is a problem that El’s Troupe solves. People may not come to a church or attend an online broadcast but will spend hours on Netflix and attending plays. Due to popular demand, we are excited to plan the next tour!
