YOUTH DAY Global

YOUTH DAY Global

YOUTH DAY Global was created by Canadian Founder & Executive Producer, Tylaine J.F. Duggan in 2006, with a mandate to provide a free platform that engages young people, and encourages them to find a passion in the Arts. The artistic disciplines featured are their MUSIC, DANCE, ART, PHOTOGRAPHY, FASHION and FILM.

The initiative focuses Youth during the whole year, with a goal to perform at its free public Festival, where they can showcase their positive achievements on the YD stage and in the YD Gallery, for some 40,000 visitors that have come out to applaud their Talent on the big day! In 2026, YD celebrates 20 YEARS of YD for the first time in a climate-controlled setting inside the new 10,000 square foot St. Lawrence Market North building. Additionally the YD Market, with Vendors & Corporate Heroes that enable the NFP event, surround the event with delicious food flavours from around the world, interesting artisans and brand activations. In 2015, at the Invitation of the Bob Marley Foundation, the platform expanded as YD-Jamaica to Montego Bay. YD is committed to continue to grow its global ambitions, to ensure Youth under 29 everywhere, have access to their own place of self-expression for their passions, helping their mental health while also building self-esteem for a bright future.

YOUTH DAY is a non-profit event operated solely by dedicated Volunteers and caring Partner Organizations, enabled by Vendor businesses and Corporate brands sponsoring the operational costs of the festival’s production in a commendable gesture of giving back to their customers, and showing their valued participation in the Community. No Volunteers, Artists or Staff receive remuneration, and YD does not apply or receive Government funding or grants.

Media is encouraged to continue to spread this "Good News Youth story", for the benefit of all our Communities.www.youthdayglobal.comBE PART OF IT!
