Burnaby Lake Park Association

The Burnaby Lake Park Association (BLPA) is dedicated to preserving, protecting and enhancing the Park’s natural environment, while advocating respect, appreciation and enjoyment of the park’s natural attributes and recreational resources.

The BLPA acknowledges that our work is situated on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh), and kʷikʷəƛ̓əm (Kwikwetlem) Peoples. We offer immense gratitude and thanks to the host nations whose ancestors have long been protectors of the lands and the waters that house and nourish us, and we commit to learning from their example as we engage in our work to restore and protect Burnaby Lake Regional Park.
