Wyland Group

Founded in 1995, Wyland Group has been a trailblazer in Montreal’s Black entertainment scene. Their debut event, “I’ll Make U Famous,” laid the groundwork for a legacy of innovation. Over the years, they’ve curated hallmark experiences such as the annual “Signature” New Year’s Day celebration, vibrant Friday nights at Viva Lounge, and the “Sunset Vibes” day parties. Notably, the Sunset Vibes: Carnival Edition at Beachclub featured electrifying performances by DJs OSOCITY and DJ Puffy. Wyland Group has also produced showcases, concerts, and comedy shows, hosting renowned artists like Musiq Soulchild, Ne-Yo, John Legend, Bell Biv DeVoe, Wyclef Jean, D’Angelo, Maxwell, Carimi, Sweet Micky, Tabou Combo, and Mikaben, as well as DJs Whoo Kid, Kid Capri & Baby Blue Sound Crew. These milestones evoke deep nostalgia, reflecting Wyland Group’s enduring impact on Montreal’s cultural landscape.
