Andrea Amador is a women’s empowerment coach and author of Lovin’ the Skin You’re In: The Juicy Woman’s Guide to Making Peace with Food and Friends with Your Body. She has over 22 years of experience supporting women in healing their relationship with themselves and their bodies.

After years of struggling with body shame, low self-worth, and compulsive eating, Andrea made the decision to stop dieting—and in doing so, discovered that the answer wasn’t control, but self-trust. From that moment, everything began to change.

She is the creator of the Losing Weight Without Dieting program, now known as Love Your Way to Wellness. Through this work, she helps women develop trust around food so they can stop fearing their hunger, eat the foods they love, and gently learn to tune into their needs and listen to their bodies—nurturing and guiding themselves gently with compassion and kindness.

Andrea’s work was further deepened through her lived experience of depression, estrangement, betrayal, and profound personal loss—including early estrangement from her father, followed years later by the death of her husband, and then estrangement from her daughter. She understands firsthand how grief and broken relationships impact not only the heart and body, but also how we see and care for ourselves—and how we relate to food.

Estrangement and betrayal can shatter a woman’s sense of self—leaving her questioning her identity, her worth, and whether she can trust herself again.

Overeating and weight gain can become a natural response—because when trust is broken, the body turns to comfort, safety, and relief. It’s not a lack of willpower—it’s a need for care.

Through her books, coaching programs, Master Your Mirror workshops, self-love park walks in nature, and gentle, self-trust–guided dining experiences, Andrea offers a grounded and compassionate path to help women rebuild self-trust, calm emotional overwhelm, and come home to themselves—one bite, one mirror glance, one step at a time.
