Danielle Oakley
Danielle Oakley has been a Texas educator since 2004 and TExES certification exam tutor since 2008. She was a middle school teacher for 9 years and taught Math, Social Studies, ELAR, and ESL ELAR for beginning and intermediate English Learners, as well as managed ESL program compliance for her campus. She earned her Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Texas Woman’s University, and in 2013 moved into the role of Secondary ESL Coordinator for her district in the Dallas/Fort Worth area where she guides the development of linguistically accommodated curriculum for ESL ELAR courses in middle school and high school, provides professional learning opportunities around instructional strategies, and supports teachers who are preparing to take the ESL Supplemental certification exam. Danielle also leads a team of campus ESL specialists who manage program compliance and provide daily support to teachers, students, and their families.
In addition to supporting teachers preparing for the TExES ESL Supplemental exam, Danielle provides tutorials over the content assessed by the PPR, Special Education, Core Subjects, PE, and a handful of other certification exams, and she offers online sessions over test-taking strategies that apply across several TExES exams.
