ANIW develops evidence-based, cost-efficient delivery of supportive training programs designed to bridge systemic and cultural barriers foreign-trained professionals (FTP) experience in their aspiration to practice their chosen profession in the Canadian workplace

ANIW, a Canadian registered charitable organization, fosters equity, justice and learning for immigrant women to achieve economic security for themselves and their families.

Formed in 1986 by a passionate group of immigrant women who recognized a need for a collaborative, unified voice to help immigrant women in Alberta achieve their potential.

ANIW believes all immigrant women should have equal and open access to learning and employment opportunities that coincide with their capabilities.
