CB Rescue Foundation

Belinda and Colin Morrison have been rescuing dogs personally since 2012 and in 2017, we obtained our non-profit society status in Alberta. CB Rescue Foundation (CB Rescue) named after Colin and Belinda are a non-profit society that services the City of Calgary and has been a sanctuary and shelter since its inception. Since 2017, CB Rescue has formally rescued over 50 dogs. Our mission and passion is to serve as a resource to the community for companion-animal related issues. Our motto is “saving dogs…changing lives!” because not only do we save the lives of the dogs we rescue, we change the lives of the people who adopt them.

CB Rescue provides numerous animal-welfare services to the residents of Calgary including (but not limited to):

  • Pet adoptions
  • Re-homing programs (locally & internationally)
  • Foster care programs for animals with special needs
  • Volunteer opportunities
  • Vetting for low income clients
  • Education programs
  • Sanctuary for unadoptable dogs

CB Rescue partners with other animal welfare organizations to bring adoptable animals to us, helping to lessen the homeless pet overpopulation that plagues our world. The animals at CB Rescue are supported by the generosity of individuals, corporations, and foundations. CB Rescue receives no City, Provincial, or Federal funding/grants. We are 100% volunteer based, this means all proceeds go back to helping dogs in need!
