EACH1 TEACH1 Workshops
EACH1 TEACH1 Workshops delivers participatory workshops that give children the space to explore how the world’s histories are interconnected and how these connections are mirrored in their personal stories. The workshops are designed to help children realise their own value, placing them on an equal footing with their peers, regardless of cultural background.
In preparation, parents/guardians are encouraged to engage in discussions with their children, setting the stage for deeper conversations during the workshops. Children then bring these conversations to life through creative activities that culminate in a gallery exhibition, showcasing their collective artistic outcomes.
We envision a future where children are empowered to question historical injustices and understand the complexities of global relationships, such as colonialism and the legacy of slavery. Through our workshops, we hope to deepen familial bonds and equip children with the tools to imagine a future where everyone is equal, and where diversity is celebrated.
