OUR SERVICES
Our certified EAP Assisters can help you better understand these options. We are ready to answer your questions, guide you through the application and enrollment process, or refer you—if necessary—to another agency for support.
This service is free and can be provided virtually or in-person.
You can re-apply for Medicaid or CHIP to find out if you still qualify.
You may be able to get low-cost, quality health coverage through the Health Insurance Marketplace.
You may be eligible for health coverage through your current employer.
You may be able to sign up for Medicare (if you are over 65, have certain disabilities, End-Stage Renal Disease or ALS) without paying a late enrollment penalty.
WHAT IS THE EAP?
The Enrollment Assistance Program (EAP) was established by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to provide targeted Marketplace application and enrollment assistance for consumers determined to be ineligible for Medicaid or CHIP coverage. CMS provides this support through local Assisters who are trained and certified to work on the agency’s behalf.
