Humber Arboretum and Centre for Urban Ecology

Located behind Humber College's North campus, the Humber Arboretum consists of botanical gardens and natural areas surrounding the western branch of the Humber River. It features hundreds of labelled plant specimens and over six kilometers of walking trails through wooded areas, meadows, and wetlands. The Centre for Urban Ecology is a LEED Gold certified facility that demonstrates sustainability in urban spaces. It provides a home for the Humber Arboretum's year-round environmental and outdoor education programs and serves as a venue for workshops, meetings and other special events.
