Jessica Hedrick

I am a working artist who lives in Kelowna, BC, where I teach painting classes and the occasional workshop.  With a broad range of experience as an artist and in the art industry, I have a lot to offer to students of all ages and skillsets.  

My classes have a strong focus on developing fundamental skills over time.  To keep the learning interesting and engaging, students can sign up for classes and workshops that cover a range of subjects: landscape painting, portrait painting, colour theory, etc, each of which offer a different activity through which to develop skills as an artist.

I respect every style of painting and my goal is to help students incorporate skills into a style that works for them. My goal is to not just know your goal, but to truly understand the path you want to take and where you want to end up - even if that changes along the way! I have built up a wonderful set of connections in many areas of the art industry and if I can't help you along the way - I will know someone who can. I want to help you be the artist you envision yourself to be!
