We offer a range of educational services for schools and the communityto support resilience, healthy relationships, and violence prevention.

The John Howard Society of Peterborough is centred in Peterborough City and County, also serving City of Kawartha Lakes, Haliburton, Hastings, and Northumberland. All proceeds help fund our free Community Mediation services for youth and young adults. As an organization, we strive to be anti-oppressive, anti-racist, and de-colonial. Program content and delivery are rooted in Restorative and Transformative Justice Principles, trauma/resilience informed practices. Compassionate Nonviolent Communication (Rosenberg, 1983, 2015) is foundational for most of our trainings.
