Matt Probin
I’m Matt, and I believe that movement is medicine.
For me, the fastest way to reconnect with ourselves and our bodies is through connection with others.
I’ve been exploring movement for almost three decades, starting with swimming before I could walk, gymnastics in my early years, and a wide range of sports throughout my teens. At 19 I discovered yoga, and since then I’ve added surfing, mountain biking, snowboarding, and countless other practices to my journey. Today, I’m a qualified yoga instructor, surf coach, and fitness instructor – but more importantly, I’m a lifelong student of the body in motion.
Through years of training, injuries, recovery, and self-exploration, I’ve learned that movement doesn’t have to fit into the rigid boxes the mainstream fitness or dance industry often promotes. Instead, when we allow ourselves to move fluidly and organically, and listen to the inate wisdom each and everyone of us carries within our own bodies, we unlock a freedom that can transform not just our sports and physical performance, but our daily lives and overall wellbeing.
My workshops are designed to give people that freedom – creating safe, supportive spaces to explore, experiment, and reconnect with the body. Because when we learn how to move with ease and efficiency, we open the door to living more fully, more joyfully, and more connected.
