Mischief Makers
We're your neighbourhood DIY Makerspace!
We are Mischief Makers! A queer owned and operated LGBTQ2S+ friendly, neuro-affirming makerspace that hosts a ton of workshops, clubs, craft meets, and events with a DIY eco-friendly focus. We're based in Toronto's Upper Beaches at Gerrard and Coxwell. Our facility has everything you need to explore, learn, and create as you bring your creative ideas to life in a way that promotes zero-waste living and, ultimately, a circular economy.
Expore, Learn, Create
Mischief Makers is a space for you to explore new crafting possibilities, learn new skills, and create works of art or mend your treasures all under one roof! We consider ourselves an entry-level skill-share space for anyone learning a maker-skill for the first time. Whether you're just beginning to use a sewing machine, figuring out how to build a new kind of cosplay armour, or finally picking up a paintbrush and diving into the watercolour landscape of your dreams, we're here to support you. Join us and discover an inclusive, supportive, and creative environment equipped with everything you need to explore, learn, and create.
Mischief Makers is like a crafty little raccoon scrounging through recycling, taking the communities donated supplies, cleaning them up, and making them available to you to make cool crafts with -- while also hosting workshops, craft meets, and skill-share events in our trendy solarpunk trashcan.
We strive to create educational programming that teaches the essential skills of mending and repairing what we already have, and building and creating with materials in need of a second (or third!) life. Our community, and our planet, will thrive when we are empowered to be self-sufficient rather than pushed toward constant consumption. We're making mischief and building a better world.
