Office of Indigenous Education and Engagement

The Office of Indigenous Education and Engagement at VIU supports Indigenous students, faculty and community members by cultivating an inclusive and culturally informed learning environment. We provide programs, services and initiatives that:

*enhance student success

*assist faculty in incorporating Indigenous perspectives into their teaching

*build strong relationships with Indigenous communities.

Through collaboration and advocacy, we work to ensure Indigenous voices, knowledge, and traditions are respected and reflected across the university.
