Welcome to my classroom! I lead immersive educational tastings where an authentic sense of place is revealed through the glass. Tastings unfold around a large table, where history, geography, terroir and local cuisine are all discussed, followed by a guided sensory evaluation of the wines. These are part travel history, wine class and round-table discussion, all rolled into 90 minutes! I typically focus on the world of Italian wine but expect to expand my curriculum to destinations in France, Spain and the US.
I own Bottivino, an online shop of curated Italian wines selected to match the season. I also provide sommelier services for the business community, including branded gifts and corporate tasting events of every size and occasion.
