Smart Politics is 501(c)4 nonprofit organization dedicated to teaching progressives how to communicate more persuasively. The organization was founded in 2017 by Dr. Karin Tamerius, a political psychiatrist, in response to the election of Donald Trump. Since then, Smart Politics has taught thousands of people how to have productive political discussions rather than getting into arguments or avoiding conversation altogether.
