The SPACE Upstairs is a not-for-profit organization with a goal to develop a wider audience for contemporary arts and culture through education, community events, and other arts and culture experiences. Education in movement practices including dance, fitness, martial arts, performing arts, music, and theatre will draw income so that profits can be put towards making dance accessible to low-income families and individuals, the elderly, and community building through the arts. The SPACE Upstairs is a space for everyone, all ages, all abilities, all backgrounds. A space for community building. A place to welcome artists in to produce, collaborate, and share artwork with the community, and an occasional venue for performances and community events.
