In response to communal grief, rage and heartbreak in the wake of the 2024 election, Deja Belle (singer, song writer and vocal coach) and Tessie Castillo (singer, song writer, song circle leader) teamed up to create Unisong, a series of guided song circles designed to connect, inspire and facilitate the healing process. Enjoyable and accessible to beginner and experienced singers alike, each workshop is lovingly woven from a rich tapestry of musical history, including classic Negro spirituals, soul-inspired beats, resistance chants, and heart medicine songs.
