University Pension Plan

Established on January 1, 2020, the University Pension Plan (UPP) was formed by the university administrations, faculty associations, unions and other staff groups at the University of Toronto, University of Guelph and Queen’s University.

UPP serves pension plan members and retirees for participating Ontario universities and is designed to enhance the long-term sustainability of defined benefit pension plans in the university sector. We strive to be the preferred pension solution for Ontario universities now and for generations to come.
