Miosotis Cabrera
Miosotis Cabrera is a philanthropist, entrepreneur, and real estate professional with a deep commitment to giving back to her community. Originally from the Dominican Republic, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) in Santo Domingo. After a successful career in tourism and hospitality, she transitioned into real estate, where she applies her strong negotiation skills and attention to detail. As the Founder and CEO of The Miosotis Cabrera Foundation, she focuses on providing technological education to underserved inner-city youths in Washington Heights, NYC, and supports causes such as providing toys for children during the holidays and contributing to medical missions to the Dominican Republic with SOMOS Community Care.
A passionate advocate for education, Miosotis is determined to address the underfunding of schools in Washington Heights, particularly in providing access to technology. She envisions a future where Hispanic children from the area can rise to become leaders in tech companies like Google, Amazon, and Apple, and believes that education is the key to unlocking their potential. In addition to her philanthropic work, she serves as the Treasurer on the Board of Directors for the Dominican Women’s Development Center (DWDC), supporting programs that empower women and children.
In her real estate career, Miosotis specializes in properties in Westchester County, NY, and the Dominican Republic. She has been a New Yorker for 29 years and a resident of Irvington, NY, for 22 years, giving her deep knowledge of the local market. Fluent in English and Spanish, she works with buyers and sellers in Yonkers, the Hudson RiverTowns, Riverdale, and White Plains. In her spare time, Miosotis enjoys jogging, reading, and traveling, especially to the Caribbean beaches of her native country.
