New Brunswick Multicultural Council / Conseil multiculturel du Nouveau-Brunswick

The New Brunswick Multicultural Council Inc (NBMC) is a bilingual non-profit umbrella organization for immigrant-serving agencies, multicultural and ethno-cultural associations in the province. NBMC facilitates member, government and community efforts to make New Brunswick the province of choice for both newcomers and residents, through enhancing the economic, social and cultural value of diversity.

As a central coordinating organization for the multicultural community, it promotes efficiency, avoids duplication of services and facilitates the exchange of best practices and, then it improves the economic, social and cultural diversity through support for its members programs.

Créé en 1983, le Conseil multiculturel du Nouveau-Brunswick est un organisme bilingue sans but lucratif chapeautant les associations multi/ethno-culturelles établies et émergentes, ainsi que les agences d’établissement de la province du Nouveau-Brunswick.

En tant qu’organe central de coordination pour la communauté multiculturelle, d’une part il favorise l’efficacité, évite la duplication des services et permet un échange des meilleures pratiques et, d’autre part il améliore la valeur économique, sociale et culturelle de la diversité à travers le soutien aux programmes des membres.
