Everyone with a passion for creativity is welcome at the Extra Life Game Jam! Designers, developers, artists, musicians, writers, architects, or anyone curious about game-making can join. No experience needed—just a willingness to learn and collaborate. Create digital or analog games!

Is this Game Jam in-person or online?

It’s both! We know not everyone can attend in person, so we’re offering a hybrid experience. The main event is at Studio Lab xR, 201 Portage, but you can join remotely or mix both options. We’ll have channels on the Winnipeg Game Jam Discord and a live feed to keep remote attendees engaged.

Do I need to have a team? Can I work solo?

You can choose to work either as part of a team or solo. If you don’t have a team, don’t worry! We’ll assist in connecting you with others who are looking for team members. Whether you prefer to collaborate or work independently, we’ve got you covered.
