Building on the popularity and success of last year's first-ever national convening, ISET offices will gather once again to share wise practices, prior to CERIC’s <a href="https://cannexus.ceric.ca/" title="https://cannexus.ceric.ca/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Cannexus25 Career Development Conference</a>.The purpose of this convening is to discuss, learn and listen to ISET holders throughout the country. Key goals will be to determine barriers that are being faced, understand opportunities that exist, and learn from success stories, all related to the advancement of skills training and employment support for Indigenous Peoples.You can expect:<ol><li>Open discussions</li><li>Sharing of wise practices</li><li>Show and tell portions</li><li>Getting to know your peers across the country</li><li>Tips and ideas about great schools and programs</li><li>To meet new friends and see old ones</li><li>To feel encouraged, inspired and equipped for the work you do</li></ol>You are welcome to register to represent your organization or to bring multiple members of your team.Every participant who attended last year's Convening rated it as very good to excellent. This involves identifying key metrics, showcasing success stories, and aligning data insights with labour market demands and employer needs.
