Inner child healing is an approach to recognizing and healing childhood traumas. Our behaviors as an adult root from our childhood experiences. Connecting to our inner child through meditation can help us discover and understand our behaviors, triggers, wants, and needs. Wounds to our inner child could be the result of abuse, abandonment, neglect, experiencing unmet emotional needs, or growing up in a broken family. The list can go on to all the circumstances your younger self may have internalized. However, it is likely that if you do have childhood trauma, the effects have a huge impact in your life today. Some Signs That You Inner Child Needs Healing: -Easily triggered-People pleasing tendencies-Self-sabotaging behaviours-Holding guilt and resentment-Unhealthy coping mechanisms such as drug or alcohol abuse, isolation, and over/under eating-Fear of abandonment or rejection-Fear of commitment and lack of trust-Difficulty setting and keeping boundaries or expressing your needs-Self-criticism and low self-esteem-Needing external validation-Never felt close with your mother or father-Intimacy and vulnerability makes you uncomfortable-Avoids conflict at all costs-Hates being alone This session includes:-Aromatherapy-Sage &amp; Palo Santo Cleansing-Herbal Tea Available Before &amp; After The Session-Oracle Cards EVENT DETAILS: Parking: There is free street parkingEntrance: Go up the stairs at ‘The Enterprise Center’ (TO THE LEFT OF ANYTIME FITNESS), take your first left, then walk straight down the hall to the studio on your right WHAT TO BRING: -Yoga mat (please contact us directly if you need to reserve one to rent for $5)-Blanket-Pillow/cushion (recommended for extra comfort)-Eye covering (optional)-Journal (optional)-Wear comfy clothing CANCELLATION POLICY: We require at least 24 hours notice to receive a refund *Please allow yourself extra time to find parking and arrive 10 minutes in advance to settle in. Doors open at 6:50pm. The session starts at 7pm and we cannot let you in once the sound bath has begun (No refunds for latecomers). YOUR GUIDE FOR THIS SESSION:Stephanie Bowman is a certified vibrational &amp; energetic practitioner. Her main areas of focus are Sound and Reiki healing with intuitive guidance through tarot with the aim to guide her clients back to alignment.She believes in ‘healing from the heart,’ and intends to make that her mission with everything she offers including several healing modalities to benefit her clients physically, mentally and spiritually. Stephanie found sound healing along her journey to finding true wellness and now makes it her mission to share the gift of sound and all its benefits with her clients.
