Since January 2017, The Big Sing has been creating spaces for Halifax to come together and sing their hearts out. Meeting twice a week, plus some extra special gigs every now and then, Jack Bennet, Caitlin Bowers and Rachael Delano lead a community of strangers together in song. It’s time for a throw back to the 80s (I mean, isn’t it always time?) Halloween is coming up, and we’re feeling HUNGRY LIKE THE WOLF! Come belt this classic song by DURAN DURAN in three-part harmony with us in THE BASEMENT of the shoe! We teach, you sing. Just picture a Nova Scotia kitchen party, with 250 friends, at a bar, learning one of the best pop tunes of our time, in perfected three-part harmony. We’re not joking. It’s awesome. … All Fall long, catch us the second Tuesday of the month at The Basement of the Shoe on Argyle Street. In the heart of Halifax, in the heart of the action – come sing your heart out with us. Our pro tip? Drop by early for a drink and a bite from our friends upstairs at The Economy Shoe Shop. Caitlin recommends the nachos *chef's kiss* No musical skills required. You show up, lyrics in one hand and a drink in the other, and we do the rest.
