Professional Development Workshop: Exploring Your Career Options

<h2>Summary:</h2><p>Join a Career Educator from Career Exploration and Education, University of Toronto for an virtual workshop to help you navigate the dynamic and often complex process of developing your career options.</p><h2>Target Audience:</h2><p>This seminar is targeted towards graduate students and postdoctoral fellows who are nearing the completion of the training and beginning to plan the next steps in their careers. </p><h2>Learning objectives:</h2><p>At the end of this workshop, learners will be able to:</p><p>1.	Begin to identify parallel career paths and options</p><p>2.	Learn how to connect and network to set up informational interviews  </p><p>3.	Identify resources and tools to help you strategically plan your career</p><h2>Instructors:</h2><p>Natasha Jamal, M.A, is a Career Educator at Career Exploration and Education (CxED) where she supports students and recent graduates to develop self-directed career management skills as they build their future in an ever changing world. During her graduate work, she investigated the value of embedding student voice in curriculum and educational pedagogy while also finding a way to pivot her own career from academia to research practitioner. She is committed to supporting students and recent graduates transition from academia to the world of work in a way that is engaging, accessible and relevant.
