Indspire’s acclaimed Indspiring Change @ Home webinar series is back for another season of thought-provoking conversation with innovative Indigenous community leaders – and you’re invited!Reanna McKay (Merasty) is a proud Nihithaw (Woodlands Cree) artist, writer, leader and advocate from Barren Lands First Nation and an Architectural Intern with Number TEN Architectural Group. Reanna received a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Environmental Design from the University of Manitoba (UM). She has dedicated her career to amplifying Indigenous voices, Indigenous knowledge systems, and sustainability in architecture. She is a Sessional Instructor in the UM’s Department of Architecture, and the Manitoba Regional Director on the Royal Architecture Institute of Canada Board of Directors. Through this advocacy work, Reanna was recognized as the 2023 Youth-First Nations Indspire Laureate. Additionally, Reanna is a Sundancer who grounds herself in ceremony, and promotes fitness/wellness.Mark your calendar for Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at 6:00 pm ET and get ready for some #Indspiring wisdom!
