What is the age requirement for participation?

Accepted Answer

We have less of a minimum age requirement (although typically we say 6+ just so climbers are able to understand the rules of the gym), but the minimum weight requirement for top-roping and auto-belays are 50lbs
Please note that we also have bouldering which has no minimum weight requirements!

Question 2

How many participants can you have at one time?

Accepted Answer

Our max capacity is 20 participants total – so we would not be able to have parents/guardians watch if we have 20 children climbing within the session. However, if there are less than 20 participants, parents/guardians can fill in the gaps and come watch!

Question 3

What do we need to do in order to participate in Climbing Wall and Bouldering Activities?

- Add your name to the session/ time you would like to climb, and then fill out the waiver provided and hand it back to a McMaster Children's Party Volunteer
